Wendy Lobb - CEO

Wendy M Lobb - Dip. Psychology
 
Wendy has been with Workplace Support since 1999.

She brings with her extensive leadership training and experience, a passion for the equality of all people and a desire to see fulfilment and satisfaction for workers. 

Wendy is also a qualified professional supervisor, has a Diploma in Psychology and is currently completing a second Diploma in Mental Health and Human Behaviour.

 

Caroline Walters
Office Manager

Caroline has been with the organisation since 2001 and brings with her a wide range of administration and organisational skills which makes her an invaluable member of our team. She ably assists the CEO where required and brings a methodical approach to the smooth running of the Regional Office.

Caroline's empathy for the work of the organisation allows her to assist clients and callers with their request in a very respectful manner and seeks at all times to find helpful and relevant solutions.

Trish Patrick
Training Co-ordinator

Trish has been with the organisation since 1995 and brings a wide range of experience and skill to her role. Trish facilitates the initial formation of new staff as well as the on-going professional development, through regular training days, of all staff.

Trish comes from a nursing background and also works in the area of professional supervision and development.


 
Claire Soal
Dunedin Team Leader

Claire has been with Workplace Support since 2002 as a chaplain and has also been Dunedin Team Leader since 2004.

Formerly with a background as a hairdresser and tutor, she enjoys the challenge that working with people brings.

Claire is also involved in the Catholic Church on the parish and pastoral area council.

Tom Lamb
Central Otago Team Leader

Tom commenced as a chaplain for Workplace Support in 1997 in Central Otago region. He has been delighted to have been involved in increasing the number of chaplains in this large geographical region as the local economy has improved.

"I enjoy meeting people and having the privilege of watching and gaining insight into the many and varied skills undertaken by business and individuals. To be available to encourage people in their work and family life is quite special."
 
Pat Graham
Invercargill Team Leader

Pat joined Workplace Support in 1995 and served as a Chaplain for the first 10 years ,then becoming Team Leader also.

Coming from a background of banking then insurance, Pat brings wide experience of dealing with people and the issues they experience in life.

"I enjoy working with people and get a special thrill seeing them develop their ability to deal with the personal challenges of living in a busy and complex society with all of its associated issues." It is a special and unique privilege to be able to sit along-side  people when they are at their most vulnerable."

Maria Bowden
Counsellor, Dunedin

Maria Bowden, B.A. DipG.Psy Prov.Member NZAP, has an extensive history as a social worker and educator. Maria has been in private practice as a Gestalt Psychotherapist since 1994.

She works with individuals; couples; groups and organisations as a therapist, supervisor, trainer and group facilitator.

She is currently part of the Faculty Group of the Gestalt Institute of New Zealand. Maria’s strengths include twenty years experience with trauma and abuse issues. Her current work includes issues such as depression; grief; anxiety; loss; abuse; trauma; addiction; burnout; stress; motivation; potentiality; conflict; redundancy and change.

Maria has a personal and professional commitment to holistic health and well being. This involves the encouragement and development of good emotional; physical and spiritual well being in our daily lives. She encourages awareness and honesty with oneself and in relation to others so that good relationships can be maintained.
